Sharing and collaboration is central after paper publication. TheGMS uses smart Article search technology and article-specific keywords to match an article when a reader search for an article in similar disciplines.
Once a paper is online, our web team starts dynamic promotion which includes sharing the paper with subscribed researchers, social media platforms and general article promotion campaigns. This helps the authors to get better citation for the paper and attract funding and collaborators for their hard work. Various initiatives taken to promote an author and his/her papers include:
Sharing and promoting your article form an important part of research, in terms of fostering the exchange of scientific information and allowing a paper to contribute to wider scientific progress.
We also suggest our authors to share link of the article to colleagues, friends and family, and use it to promote the article by email and on social media. If you have a personal page at your institute, include links to the final versions of your articles on that page. You should also ensure that your CV is available online, with links to your publications. You can do this on networking sites like LinkedIn, or on a personal website or blog. Finally, keep your SCOPUS and ORCID author profiles up to date so others can find your articles.
Paper visibility is an increasingly important issue for us and TheGMS finds ways to make an article stand out.
