We are pleased to be a signatory of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) Publishers Compact. This Compact is designed to inspire action among publishers. Launched in collaboration with the International Publishers Association, the Compact aims to accelerate progress to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030.
We are committed to the principles of developing sustainable practices and publishing content that will help to achieve goals in that direction.
We are one of the publishers to sign up to DORA, the Declaration on Research Assessment. DORA represents a set of recommendations imperative for measuring and evaluating scientific output accurately and wisely.
Signing DORA is an extension to our commitment towards driving positive change, working in partnership with communities across all scientific disciplines.
If you decide to have us publish your paper, we’ll work with you every step of the way, providing a level of service that is not even an option with online publishing services. The authors will be working directly with our experienced, top-level professionals, including Gazette handling editors, subject experts, webmasters, publicity and public relations specialists, and marketing experts. After publication, the papers are promoted via relevant and necessary sources using the latest technology.
We invite thought leaders from around the globe to contribute and lead the sessions in medical research and development programmes. We’d also like you to help us develop TheGMS in a way that supports your future needs. We’re always open to hearing your feedback on what else you’d like to see, discuss, or get information to help you develop in your career or just help make things a little easier.
TheGMS believes that we have a key role and responsibility in assessing the outputs, outcomes and societal benefits of published articles.
We challenge outdated approaches to measuring effects and continue to work with our global author network to publish research which makes a difference.
