The Gazette of Medical Sciences (TheGMS) aims to slash the publishing costs while enhancing the quality and increasing the satisfaction level of the authors. TheGMS consistent effort is to improve the quality and speed of peer review, while reducing the cost to publish. Using the latest technology and a laser-focus on quality, user experience and efficiency, our articles showcase scholarly communication at its finest.
TheGMS publishes all its articles in full open access, meaning unlimited use and reuse of articles, in addition to giving credit to the authors. All our articles are published under a Creative Commons (CC BY) license. Authors pay a one-time Article Processing Charge (APC) to cover the costs of peer review administration and management, professional production of articles in PDF and other formats, and dissemination of published papers in various venues, in addition to other publishing functions. The Article Processing Charge for an article is 1575 USD.
Please note that the option to process an advance payment remains but does not guarantee acceptance of manuscripts. There are no charges for rejected articles, no submission charges. There may be surcharges based on the length of an article, figures or supplementary data.
However, TheGMS ensures that charges are not a barrier in publishing valuable papers. The authors who have financial constraints may request for discount in article processing charges.
